Taligen Therapeutics announced the close of a $65M Series B financing led by Alta Partners and Clarus Ventures and with ongoing participation from existing partners Sanderling Ventures, Tango and High Country Venture.

Taligen Therapeutics, Inc., new website (here), is a development stage biotechnology company with a novel technology to modulate and regulate activation of the complement system. An IND for their lead product, TA106 for persistent asthma, should hopefully be filed by 4Q07.

Taligen Therapeutics, Inc. announced that it has successfully attained the development milestone required to trigger the funding of the second tranche of its Series A Preferred financing.
